120 competitors raise over £1000 for the Team Ted Foundation in a standout community HYROX simulation at Jetts Leeds Colton.

Jetts UK is continuing to show what community-led fitness really looks like, with Jetts Leeds Colton delivering another hugely successful HYROX simulation event – combining competition, connection, and real community impact.

Building on the momentum of their first event in November, the second HYROX simulation welcomed an incredible 120 competitors (with a waitlist of 30+) through the doors, nearly doubling participation and highlighting the growing appetite for functional fitness experiences. Even more impressive, 82 of those participants were women, reinforcing the inclusive, welcoming environment the club has worked hard to create.

Held on February 7th, the event also raised an outstanding £1,000 for Team Ted Foundation, a local charity supporting children living with cancer – a cause close to the team’s heart and a powerful reminder of the role gyms can play in supporting their wider communities.

At the centre of the event’s success is Jetts Leeds Colton’s commitment to making fitness accessible, supportive, and genuinely enjoyable. The HYROX simulations are designed to welcome everyone – from first-timers stepping into something new, to experienced athletes preparing for larger competitions – all within a format that feels encouraging rather than intimidating.

What truly set the day apart was the atmosphere. With 35 volunteer judges, a live DJ, coffee shop, pizza van, and professional photography, the gym was transformed into a vibrant, high-energy space where members, non-members, friends and families came together. It’s this kind of experience that not only drives participation, but builds lasting connections.

Behind the scenes, the entire event was planned and delivered by the Jetts Leeds Colton team themselves, showcasing the passion, creativity, and teamwork that sits at the heart of the club.

The impact has extended well beyond the event itself, with increased engagement, new member interest, and a stronger sense of belonging across the club. More importantly, it’s created an environment where people feel comfortable trying something new – and supported every step of the way.

With plans to host four events per year, including future HYROX simulations and wider community-focused workouts, Jetts Leeds Colton is setting the tone for what modern fitness spaces can be – not just places to train, but places to connect.

As Jetts UK continues to grow, stories like this highlight what makes the brand special: passionate teams, empowered business owners, and communities that come together to make something bigger happen.
